B2B Associations

American Marketing Association, New Jersey (AMA/NJ) The New Jersey American Marketing Association is a professional marketing organization for Marketing professionals located in the New Jersey metropolitan area involved in the practice, study and teaching of marketing. Members own or work at independent marketing services company. These professionals provide expertise in marketing research, communications, branding and product development and professional networking. Group members of the AMA are connected to this network of experienced marketers along with those throughout the nation.

American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) – NJ ASMP-NJ is committed to open communication between chapter members, the photographic industry and other creative professionals and promotes professionalism, photographers’ rights, educates photographers in better business practices, and produces business publications for photographers in photography within the State of New Jersey. They encourage active membership and public awareness via educational programs.

Art Directors Club of New Jersey (ADCNJ) The Art Directors Club of New Jersey is a statewide, non-profit organization of art directors, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, art educators, and other creative professionals whose talent and services contribute to excellence in the design and production of advertising, promotion, and publishing. The ADCNJ provides an opportunity for stimulating ideas, discovering new talents, sources, techniques, and a forum for the promotion and advancement of the professional designer and artist.

Association for Women in Communications (AWCNJ) The Northern New Jersey Professional Chapter of the Association for Women in Communications (AWCNJ) is an active professional organization dedicated to self-development, building relationships and the advancement of women across communications disciplines. Members are able to connect with a strong and growing network of communications and marketing associations, participate in professional development sessions and identify new resources to build their careers, along with taking full advantage of all AWC member programs.

Corporate Communication International The Corporate Communication International works to enhance the performance and reputation of corporate communication as a strategic management function. They supply both practicing professionals and scholars with information and knowledge on corporate and integrated marketing communications.

International Association of Business Communicators – NJ (IABC/NJ) The IABC/NJ provides opportunities for networking, learning and recognition as well as job search assistance and affinity programs for business communicators around the world.

Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association (JSPRAA) Born at the shore but state-wide savvy, the Jersey Shore Public Relations & Advertising Association attracts communications specialists from the design, writing, marketing, public relations and multimedia disciplines. They enhance the advantages of networking in business, professional development, integrated marketing, communication and information sharing.

Media Communications Association-International (MCA-I) The Media Communications Association-International (MCA-I) is committed to increase awareness of mission critical functions of media communications to professionals and to support – in every stage of their career – those engaged in the profession. They strive for cultivation of partnerships; establishment of an industry university and online library and building a voice for the industry.

Network of Writers & Artist (NOWA) The Network of Writers & Artist (NOWA) is dedicated to providing the business community with a network of high quality creative talent. NOWA members are all independent contractors who can work on an as-needed basis. Check their news section for past marketing seminars.

New Jersey Advertising Club (NJ Ad Club) The NJAdClub promotes creative and media resources, creates a dialog on issues of importance to the ad community, helps members develop new skills, provides opportunities for business relationships, and reaches advertising and marketing decision makers at New Jersey-based companies. New Jersey Broadcasters Association (NJBA) The NJBA is the Trade Association for the Radio and TV Stations in the State of New Jersey. They conduct educational seminars, conferences, broadcast training activities, federal rules and compliance procedures and are the New Jersey broadcasters voice at the Capitol both in Trenton and Washington. The organization was founded in 1946 by several major New Jersey radio stations and has since grown to Radio and TV stations in the state and many Radio and TV stations in neighboring New York City and Philadelphia.

New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) The NJBIA is an employer association providing information, services and advocacy for its member companies in order to build a more prosperous New Jersey. Find information on current marketing events such as internet marketing seminars along with their supplied magazine, newsletters, programs and publications.

New Jersey Chapter of Society for Technical Communication (NJ-STC) Hundreds of members of STC live or work in New Jersey. Many are technical writers and editors. Others are graphic artists, web designers, indexers, marketers, information analysts, and people who write policies and procedures. Members enjoy benefits such as newsletters, magazines, and professional discounts.

New Jersey Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association (NJ CAMA) The New Jersey Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association (NJ CAMA) is a non-profit organization founded to support a community of creative and business professionals with programs and resources that continually improve the effectiveness and integrity of communications, delivered through advertising, marketing programs, public relations and other tactical efforts. Membership is comprised of those developing communication strategy and creative, those providing services and products to the industry, those managing communication marketing for a business or those managing communications firms.

New Jersey MarCom Council New Jersey MarCom Council is dedicated to uniting the existing communications and professional marketing organizations in New Jersey for promotion and synergistic activities of benefit to all business networking groups and their constituents. Our core goal is to identify business people in New Jersey and align their interests and career goals with the local organization best suited to serve their needs.

New Jersey Press Association (NJPA) New Jersey Press Association (NJPA) is a non-profit membership association formed to advance the interests of newspapers and to increase awareness in the benefits of newspaper readership. The mission of NJPA is to help newspapers remain editorially strong, financially sound and free of outside influence. Their committees hold training seminars, monitor government affairs, obtain advertisers, and provide human resource services as a service both to their members and to the people of New Jersey.

New Media Association of New Jersey The New Media Association of New Jersey is a regional organization made for and of users of the new media industry. Members can strengthen their marketing B2B skills, expand their networks and most importantly, learn from each other.

NJ Creatives Network The NJ Creatives Network organization is a cost-effective, reliable source for freelance creative talent – from writers and artists to designers and photographers, plus film and video producers, and more.

Princeton Media Communications Association / MIP Princeton Media Communications Association / MIP is the local chapter of a national organization that promotes the use of the moving image in the arts and industry in New Jersey through an ongoing series of informational and social events that highlight developments and best practices in the industry.

Professional Photographers Association of NJ (PPANJ) The PPANJ is a not for profit organization dedicated to promote, educate, enhance, inspire and cultivate the Art of Photography. They strive to uphold the professional character and standards of the professional photographers of the State and accomplish this through Regional and State meetings, educational seminars, workshops, a degree program and their Annual State Convention.

Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-NJ) The New Jersey chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-NJ) is for public relations professionals interested in advancing their skills and their career, and networking with others in their profession.

Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) SCIP advocates for the skilled use of intelligence to enhance business decision-making and organizational performance. Their assistance to promote the common business interests of competitive intelligence professionals and to provide educational, professional development, and other services to competitive intelligence professionals worldwide enhances the success of their members.
