Part-Time Freelance Public Relations Consultant needed for SCORE, a volunteer organization providing free business counseling to new and established businesses. Although a volunteer organization, selected candidate will be offered compensation commensurate with qualifications. Prefers candidates to be local to Bergen County.
Work to include:
1. Attract new clients seeking to establish a new business. Either in the feasibility phase or startup phase.
2. Attract clients already in business that may be looking for help with expanding their business or solving a business problem.

SUMMARY
The Director, Portfolio Marketing is responsible for synthesizing market insights and individual customer problems to create positioning and value propositions that emphasize the strengths and relevance of the 1SYNC portfolio of business solutions, including tools, services, and strategic partnerships. PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
Marketing strategy and brand owner. Develops and executes marketing strategies, including marketing plans, launch plans, and communications plans, for 1SYNC portfolio (technology, services, partnerships) that drive implementation, increase membership and address market needs in key verticals.
Continually evaluates branding, messaging, collateral, and value proposition to ensure maximum ROI and ease of selling from our marketing strategy.
Employs proven methodologies and supplemental resources to analyze and segment the market, establish targets, and provide actionable intelligence to the organization.
Engages with and supports target market segments for the 1SYNC portfolio; acquires and cultivates subject matter expertise regarding key vertical(s); incorporates market feedback into strategy and messaging.
Monitors industry trends, emerging technologies, and market changes to position 1SYNC as the leader in Product Data Management for the future needs of our customers.
Builds strategic alliances with industry advisors to ensure 1SYNC “hits the radar” of those companies sourcing the best Product Data Management solutions.
Supports Channel Marketing to ensure consistent execution of the strategy, including effective use of events, web presence, social media, industry groups, and trade publications for maximum exposure and thought leadership.

Manager, Integrated Marketing Communications – AA / Caribbean
Support the development and implementation of integrated communications programs for the African American and Caribbean consumer segments. Programs need to be based on strong consumer insights and solid go-to-market strategies for each of these segments.
